I was really lucky to have been exposed to travelling at a young age by family. One of my first holidays was to Aranelle in Spain with my mum and my aunt. I don’t remember all that much from the trip now, but when I do think of it, I recall it fondly. Do you ever get those happy nostalgia moments?

When I asked my mum why she took me away so young, she said she wanted to show me there was much more to the world than just the streets where we lived. Mission definitely accomplished! Till this day as a long footed woman, I enjoy seeing new places and getting out of my own backyard. Here you will find my memoirs on trips taken previously, diaries of current travels and of course, also those to come.

Flixbus: Ferry Edition

Another wave of extorionate Eurostar tickets had me taking the FlixBus from London to Maastricht once again back in May. This time though we travelled by ferry as opposed to the tunnel, much to the grievance of many on board.     This ride came with its fair share of…

Tokyo Tower and Odaiba

Monday The week’s beginning took us firstly to Tokyo Tower. Miwa was doing a half day at work, so I was tasked with navigating my own way to Daimon Metro Station. This was equally exciting and terrifying for me. What if I got lost? What if I fell in a…
