As I am missing Christmas at home this year, I was itching to get my UK Christmas fill before departure. Pergola Paddington provided the perfect opportunity. Say that three times fast!

Sourced by the wonderful Louise, we headed to the venue the day of their Christmas reopening. This saw the event space have a fiercely festive makeover. I can’t speak for what it looked like before, as I had not been prior, but I absolutely loved the Christmas makeover. I genuinely felt like an elf in a grotto.

We sipped on mulled ciders and caught up, before picking food from the pop-up restaurants to chow down on.

A string quartet appeared throughout the evening to play everyone’s faves from the Bridgerton soundtrack. As well as, other pop hits you might not have expected to hear on a Cello. Trying to pick these tunes out against the hubbub of people frolicking made for a festive evening.

I had a slightly chaotic journey home which ended with me getting in a stroke past midnight, but a fun and merry time was truly had by all!
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays from She’s Up and Away! I’ll let you know how my actual Bajan Christmas goes next week.
Precisely what I was searching for, thanks for putting up.
