What is your name?
Rebecca
Where do you live currently?
Sheffield
Where are you from? (If it’s not currently where you live.)
Belper, Derbyshire

What do you do?
I’m a clinical research nurse
Where and when did we meet?
We met in the CAC canteen in Maastricht! Well we was introduced and the rest is history.. I’d say it was probably about 4 years ago now!
Where’s the last stamp in your passport from? Or where was your last staycation to?
Nothing wildly exciting but my last staycation was a long weekend in the Lake District.
Were you planning to travel this year, if so, where to?
I was planning a summer vacay in Italy and was going to Prague next month to visit a friend.

Once this is all over – name three (or more) places on your bucket list you plan to visit.
So many places I would love to go to but my number one is Japan, would love to go to Borneo to see the orangutans and Iceland to see the northern lights and go whale watching.
What is the biggest lesson travelling or your life travels so far have taught you, that you’d share with me?
Hmm this is a tough one.. I guess when travelling whether alone or with others never be afraid to try new things. Quite an obvious one really I guess, but I remember travelling to different cities around Belgium on my own and just standing in queues I didn’t know what they were for, and it always ended up in me seeing something interesting!
Do you have any travel tips to share?
Is there a ritual you always take before a journey? Or maybe one item you can’t leave home without?
I’ve always been an over packer! Doesn’t matter if I’m going away for a weekend or a week i’ll always have a suitcase full of outfit choices, so hard for me to pick just one item.
I am a bit of a planner especially with places I’ve been waiting a long time to visit so I do like to have a note book with a list of attractions to see, places to eat etc that I’ve researched so I don’t forget anything and miss out.

We’ve got a lot time on our hands now. What books, podcasts, or TV series’ / films would you recommend I check out?
I’ve really enjoyed the Good Doctor, obvs Grey’s Anatomy, This Is Us, A Million Little Things. I recently watched a documentary on Netflix called Three Identical Strangers which I would recommend, it has an interesting twist! Also Killing Eve is back on for a 3rd season and Friday Night Dinner is back.
Book wise I’ve been enjoying the newish author Emma Jane Unsworth she’s only has 3 books out to date but very easy, enjoyable reads, her newest addition is ‘Adults’. One of her books ‘Animals’ is actually a film on Amazon Prime at the moment.
How are you spending your extra free time?
Sadly I don’t have any extra free time as I’m grafting still! But when I have a minute I’ve been watching the things above or trying to be a bit healthier and using my exercise bike.
