What to Expect From She’s Up and Away in 2020

Did you hear? 2020 is going to be our best year yet. Yours and mine, and this blog is going to record it all.

I want this year to be full of goals achieved and boxes ticked. I want to look back on this year’s ‘Year in Review’, shake my head and say – “Really Charlotte? You were really doing the most”

Doing the most 

We often view this as negative. 

“Ugh Gerard* is so desperate, he’s really doing the most!”

But I want nothing more than to do just that. There are so many instances where I look back at times in my life thus far, and say:

‘I wish I had done that whilst I had the chance’..

Which is a bit ridiculous as I’m only 27.

I certainly don’t want to be on my death bed, whenever that may be thinking of all the things I wish I’d done but not got round to, whether that be because of work or anything else that at the time felt like a shackle on my freedom. 

Full enjoyment starting…..NOW 

So I’ll be starting now. 1 year of doing the most! And I’ll capture it here and on video for posterity. I’ve ALWAYS wanted to vlog but get so self conscious and concerned about the opinion of others that I’ve never crossed that finish line. I love watching Lydia Dinga’s vlogs, and before her amazing travel one’s now, I was struck by her weekly vlogs – how nice a record it must be for her to look back on and see herself growing and evolving. 

As a sentimental being, I love that and want that for myself. And what better year to start than in the best year of my life?
